Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses Rivl Homes (rivl.africa and the iOS/Android apps), operated by RIVL TECHNOLOGIES LTD. It supplements our Terms of Service.
Purpose of Rivl Homes
Rivl Homes is for adding the home you live in, setting what you want next, and connecting when a matching home is about to open. Use Rivl only for lawful, genuine rental activity — not to scrape homes or misrepresent where you live.
Accounts and verification
You must provide accurate information, keep your phone number under your control, and not share OTP codes. Circumventing verification or creating fake accounts is prohibited.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use Rivl to:
- Add a home you do not live in, or misrepresent that you are inside the unit.
- Post false, misleading, or spam information about a home or your next-home preferences.
- Advertise illegal services, scams, or fraudulent properties.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export user or home data without permission.
- Interfere with platform security or fee systems.
- Impersonate another person.
- Use Rivl to launder money, evade sanctions, or violate Ghanaian or applicable law.
Fees and payments
Do not attempt to evade in-app fees (such as Rivl Connect) through false cancellations or chargeback abuse without cause. Legitimate refund requests are handled under our Refunds & Returns Policy.
Enforcement
Rivl may investigate violations and may warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts and report unlawful activity to authorities where appropriate.
Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to support@rivl.africa with as much detail as possible.
